Morehouse, Lucas Henry
Lucas H. Morehouse is a solo practicing attorney offering civil and criminal taxpayer representation to help clients resolve tax debt and tax collection issues with the IRS. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2003 from Louisiana State University and his Juris Doctorate in 2008 from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center. He was admitted to practice law in Louisiana in 2008. Lucas began his legal practice in New Orleans where he focused on criminal trials and plaintiff’s litigation. After successfully representing hundreds of clients in trials he began focusing his practice in the fields of tax collection issues, tax litigation and IRS representation. Today, Morehouse spends his time representing clients before the IRS on tax collection issues, tax controversies and audits. Lucas also serves as ‘of counsel’ at Morrison Law Group, PLC, a firm specializing in estate planning law, providing advice and analysis relating to tax issues for an array of clients. In his community Lucas currently serves as executive president of the board for Silence is Violence, a local non-profit organization involved in providing assistance to victims of violent crime in the New Orleans area.
